Submit your photos

Submissions for 2027 have closed, we've gone to print but please start taking photos for the 2028 calendar. You don't have to be a professional photographer, all you need to do is to capture the right moment. To get an idea of what we're looking for pick up a 2027 calendar.

What kind of photos do we want?

We welcome all kinds of photography; from sweeping seafront landscapes (yes, including the West Pier!) to lively street scenes and everyday moments.

We’re not just after pretty pictures, though. We want to reflect the people and communities that make Brighton, well… Brighton. A progressive, sometimes weird, but always wonderful city.

The calendar is rooted in the local community, so we love seeing images from Brighton events like the Pride Parade, Brighton Marathon, festival season, Burning the Clocks, and beyond. Show us the spirit of the city - however you see it.
