Have you got a cool image capturing the spirit of Brighton and Hove? We are always looking for good quality photography. You don't have to be a professional photographer, all you need to do is to capture the right moment.

What kind of photos do we want?

We welcome all kinds of photography; from sweeping seafront landscapes (yes, including the West Pier!) to lively street scenes and everyday moments.

We’re not just after pretty pictures, though. We want to reflect the people and communities that make Brighton, well… Brighton. A progressive, sometimes weird, but always wonderful city.

The calendar is rooted in the local community, so we love seeing images from Brighton events like the Pride Parade, Brighton Marathon, festival season, Burning the Clocks, and beyond. Show us the spirit of the city – however you see it.

What happens next?

We review all submissions and will be in touch if your photo is shortlisted for inclusion in the Brighton & Hove Calendar.

If your image is selected, you’ll be fully credited, paid, and may also be featured in our month-long outdoor exhibition of calendar photos on Brighton’s seafront gallery (by the i360) throughout November.

Thank you for helping us celebrate this amazing city and the people who make it what it is.
